Kolenda Art Glass is a family-owned and operated glass studio located in Grand Rapids, MI. We founded Kolenda Art Glass in 2012 to give ourselves the freedom to explore new techniques while embracing the traditions of the past.
Our artists are qualified to handle projects both large and small from restoring historic painted glass to designing and fabricating a custom piece to suit your space. Kolenda Art Glass will give you a personalized experience and exceptional customer service.

As the owner of the studio, he oversees all aspects of production, from design to execution. His expertise ensures that each piece, whether new or restored, is crafted with precision and care.

Stained Glass Guru and Craftsman
Eric is the heart of our day-to-day operations, handling everything from building and restoring stained glass to installing finished pieces. With a keen eye for detail and a mastery of traditional methods, Eric ensures that every piece of glasswork meets the highest standards. His hands-on approach is essential to keeping things running smoothly in the studio.

Stained Glass Designer and Painter, Calvin College Alumni
Elizabeth is an integral part of our team and co-owner of the studio. As a skilled glass artist and painter, Elizabeth’s work focuses on blending the fine art of painting with the vibrant world of stained glass. She brings fresh ideas, creative insights, and a love for the craft that inspires the rest of the team. Elizabeth’s contributions help shape the artistic vision of the studio.

Lisa is a dedicated stained glass artist, continually honing her craft under the guidance of Matt and Eric. She’s passionate about learning and growing, and plays an important role in assisting with production and maintaining the studio’s workflow. Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist
Stephanie brings a creative flair to our studio, applying her B.F.A. in design to develop new fabrication ideas and designs. She also manages our marketing, social media presence, and customer communication. From conceptual sketches to digital promotion, Stephanie ensures that our work reaches a wider audience while staying true to our artistic vision.

Glass Artist & Designer
With nearly 30 years of experience, Maria is a highly skilled glass artist who collaborates closely with clients to design and create unique stained glass pieces. She excels at helping clients choose the style that best reflects their vision, and then bringing those ideas to life through hand-painted details, which are carefully kiln-fired to perfection.
